TD Technology Forum Chairman Zhou Huan: TD-LTE 2015 trial networking
On November 12, Seoul, South Korea, the 2009CJK China-Japan-South Korea Mobile Internet Summit Forum was held this morning at Lotte Hotel in Seoul, South Korea. Zhou Huan, chairman of the TD Technology Forum, introduced the development of TD-SCDMA and the development of the TD industry chain in his speech.
Zhou Huan said that at present TD terminals have fully realized 45 services, including video calling, video sharing, and video conferencing.
Zhou Huan revealed that TD is actively expanding to overseas markets. TD has already established a test network in South Korea. In addition, it has also established test networks in Canada, Italy, Ghana, Africa, Myanmar and Hong Kong, China.
On the issue of the smooth evolution of TD, Zhou Huan emphasized that TD-LTE will conduct trial network construction next year, and if conditions are ripe, trial networking will be conducted in 2015.
