Geomembrane Permeability Coefficient Tester

Installation and Usage Instructions

1. Pressure Setting: After turning on the power, press the "Set" button to adjust the pressure. Use the "+" and "-" keys to increase or decrease the value. The unit is in MPa. Press "Enter" to confirm and set the upper, lower, and limit pressures. Once adjusted, press "Save" to store the settings. After setting the lower limit, press "Confirm" to exit.

The lower limit should be set to at least 0.1 MPa.

2. Time Clear: If you need to restart the experiment, press the "Zero Adjustment" button to reset the time. Be careful not to accidentally press this key during operation.

3. Time Review: Press the "Time Setting" key to view the current time setting. Press "Enter" again to exit the review mode.

4. Zero Adjustment: If the instrument does not return to zero after starting, long-press the "Zero Adjustment" button to reset it. Do not press the "Clear" button while under pressure; wait until the pressure is released before adjusting the zero point.

5. Sample Preparation: Each test group should consist of no fewer than 3 samples. Ensure the sample size matches the container. Open the container, fill it with water, place the sealing ring, sample, permeable stone, and pressure ring in order, then clamp the sample securely.

6. Pressure Application: Gradually increase the pressure using the pressure regulating valve. Unless specified otherwise, the pressure should reach 100 kPa. Check all pipelines and joints for leaks during this process.

7. Data Collection: Once the pressure reaches the required level, record the initial reading and measure the water temperature. The interval between readings depends on the amount of seepage. Take a reading every 60 minutes, and extend the interval if the seepage decreases gradually.

8. Test Completion: The test can be considered complete when the difference in seepage between two intervals is less than 2%. Use the seepage amount from the last interval as the final test value.

After testing, clean the instrument's surface and apply anti-rust grease for future use.

Precautions:

1. If the screen goes black, check the power cable connections. Use a multimeter to verify that the power is working. Open the back cover and check if the internal plug is loose. If the problem persists, contact the manufacturer for support.

2. If the device is not used for an extended period, avoid leaving pressure on it. Check the steel ball inside the pressure control valve for rust. If present, wipe it with a dry cloth—do not use oil.

3. When attaching the test piece, ensure the screws are tightened evenly to prevent leakage.

4. If the test piece leaks, apply glass glue around the edge of the seal. Apply the glue according to the size of the sealing area to ensure a tight fit.
