Geomembrane Permeability Coefficient Tester
Installation and Usage Instructions
1. Pressure Setting: After turning on the power, press the "Set" button to adjust the pressure. Use the "+" and "-" keys to increase or decrease the pressure value. Press the "Enter" key to set the upper, lower, and limit pressures. Once adjusted, press the "Save" button to confirm the settings. After setting the lower limit, press "Confirm" to exit the adjustment mode. The lower limit should be set to 0.1 MPa per hour.
2. Time Reset: To restart the experiment, press the "Zero Adjustment" button. This will reset the time display. Be cautious not to accidentally press this button during operation.
3. Time Review: Press the "Time Setting" key to view the set time value. Then press "Enter" to exit the time review mode.
4. Zero Calibration: If the device does not return to zero after starting, long-press the "Zero Adjustment" button to reset it. Do not press the "Clear" button when there is pressure; instead, release the pressure first before recalibrating.
5. Sample Preparation: Each test group should include at least 3 samples. Ensure the sample size matches the container. Open the sample container, fill it with water, place the sealing ring, sample, permeable stone, and pressure ring in sequence, then clamp the test piece securely.
6. Pressure Application: Gradually increase the pressure using the pressure valve. Unless otherwise specified, apply up to 100 kPa. Check all pipelines and joints for leaks during this process.
7. Data Collection: Once the pressure reaches the desired level, record the initial reading and measure the water temperature. The interval between readings should depend on the amount of seepage. Record a reading every 60 minutes, and extend the interval if the seepage decreases over time.
8. Test Completion: The test can be stopped when the difference in seepage between two intervals is less than 2%. Use the seepage value from the last interval as the final test result.
After completing the test, clean the instrument surface and apply anti-rust grease for future use.
Precautions:
1. If the screen goes black, check the power cable connection. Use a multimeter to verify that power is reaching the device. Open the back cover and check if the internal connector is loose. If the issue persists, contact the manufacturer for support.
2. If the device is not used for an extended period, avoid leaving pressure applied for long. Check the steel ball inside the pressure valve for rust. If found, gently wipe it with a dry cloth—do not apply oil.
3. When attaching the test piece, ensure the screws are evenly tightened to prevent leaks.
4. If the test piece leaks, apply glass glue around the seal area according to the size of the leak. Make sure the glue is applied properly to maintain a tight seal.
A transformer is an electrical device that is used to transfer electrical energy from one circuit to another through electromagnetic induction. It consists of two coils of wire, called the primary and secondary coils, which are wrapped around a common iron core. When an alternating current is passed through the primary coil, it creates a magnetic field that induces a voltage in the secondary coil. The voltage in the secondary coil can be stepped up or stepped down depending on the number of turns in each coil. Transformers are used in power transmission and distribution systems to step up the voltage for long-distance transmission and step it down for distribution to homes and businesses. They are also used in electronic devices such as power supplies and audio amplifiers.
