Regardless of the type, all installations must comply with national building acceptance standards, professional codes, and technical regulations to ensure safety and efficiency.
For example, a typical high-rise passenger elevator consists of various components such as the car, wire rope, counterweight or balancing device, traction mechanism, guide wheel, safety gear, terminal protection device, buffer, landing door or hall door, button box, and floor indication panel. Additionally, shaft lighting is installed at 500mm above and below the electric well, with spacing between lights not exceeding 7 meters. The elevator's power supply should be separately drawn from the main distribution board or substation, using a TN-S three-phase five-wire system that separates the protective earth (PE) and neutral (N) lines for enhanced safety.
After installation, it's crucial to ensure that all electrical systems, signaling devices, communication equipment, safety mechanisms, and adjustment test operations are functioning properly. To meet these requirements, we use Supra rail-mounted and plug-in terminal blocks in these systems, as well as Supra elevator door switches in the landing door components.
