Recently, the company confirmed that it has started selling this innovative display. According to internal sources, these panels will initially be supplied to Sony for use in medical monitors, marking a significant step forward in the application of OLED technology in healthcare.

The newly developed screen features a resolution of 3840 x 2160 (4K at 204 PPI), a brightness of 350 nits, and a remarkably slim thickness of just 1.3mm. Weighing only 500 grams, the panel showcases the advantages of OLED technology, which allows for a simpler structure compared to traditional LCDs, making it possible to achieve such a thin and lightweight design.

JOLED was founded in August 2014 with support from JDI, Sony, Panasonic, and the INCJ Investment Fund.
