Technical lecture: experts interpret new robot controllers

With the rapid increase in labor costs, robot -based automation equipment has gradually been favored by industry and commerce. Although some companies have moved factories to Southeast Asia and other regions to obtain cheaper labor, the recent anti-China incident in Vietnam has brought Chinese factories. The embarrassment has caused the enterprises to suffer huge losses. In fact, the political instability in Southeast Asian countries and the backward infrastructure are not good investment in manufacturing. It is the best way to carry out automated transformation and upgrading.

According to incomplete statistics, there are currently more than 100 robot manufacturers in China. Not only foreign industrial robot giants are rushing to the Chinese robot market , but also domestically, including Tianjin, Chongqing, Shanghai, Jiangsu and Guangzhou, which are developing automatic equipment and industrial robots. The development of the robot industry will form a huge upstream and downstream industry chain, and as the brain-control system side of the robot is the core part of the entire robot industry. How to design a control system is the key to the success of the robot product.

Speaker Introduction:

Professor Zhai Chao received his master's and doctoral degrees respectively in the Department of Mechanical Engineering of Tianjin University. Currently working at the Robotics Institute of Beijing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics. His main research interests are robotics and robot control, and mechanical system dynamics. He has published more than 70 research papers in core journals and international conferences at home and abroad. He has participated in the research and development of robot projects in several national 863 programs. He is currently a member of the National Industrial Automation System and Integration Standardization Technical Committee (CSBTS/TC159) and the Robot Standardization Subcommittee (CSBTS/TC159/SC2).
