Getting started guide
This article explains how to connect the Intel Galileo development board to your computer and upload your first program.
Installing the software and uploading the first program can do this in about an hour (not counting the download time).
Note: This release uses a special version of the Arduino IDE. The first thing you need to do is download it from the Intel website and update the SPI on the development board.
The basic steps are as follows:
1. Get a development board and a data cable
2. Download the Arduino development environment and development board firmware
3. Connect to the development board
4. Install drivers and other software
5. Launch the Arduino IDE application
6. Update the development board firmware
7. Open the blink example
8. Select the development board
9. Select the port
10. Uploader

The kit contains:
· 1x Intel® Galileo Customer Reference Board (CRB) (Fab D with blue PCB)
· 1x 5v power and line
Warning: A 5V power supply must be used, otherwise the development board will be damaged.
Note: The I/O connector is exactly the same as the Arduino 1.0 revision pin input.
