According to designworldonline.com, TycoElectronics has introduced a solderless LED socket, model LS, designed specifically for Philips Lumileds' new LUXEONTMS LED, and is already in Santa Clara, California, USA. The "StrategiesInLight2011" conference was first introduced. This new product provides solderless wire end connections for Philips Lumileds' latest lighting class LEDs.
