Tesla CEO Elon Musk has released a new product tweet that has triggered speculation among foreign media. The new SUV models and small bus cars based on Model X are all speculated. A number of foreign media believe that Tesla Model Y is likely to make its debut at the new product launch on October 17.
A few weeks ago, Musk announced that Tesla is expanding its all-electric product line to include Model Y, electric trucks, minibuses, pickups and more.
Musk has said that future models including Model Y will be based on the existing Model3 and Model X. ModelY as a compact SUV from Tesla will be built on the Model 3 sedan. The rest of the vehicles will be built on Model X.
Musk announced this year that the "big plan" pointed out the intention to produce Model Y and two electric vehicles. At that time, Musk said that these vehicles are in the early stage of development, but it is likely to be released next year.
