In the third quarter of 2016, global shipments of tablet PCs were approximately 43 million units, compared with 50.5 million units in the same period last year, a year-on-year decrease of 14.7%. The top two companies have not changed, and Apple and Samsung are still leaders. The third place in Amazon is more stable. In the entire market, the top five companies accounted for 55.8% of the total, compared with 46.8% in the same period last year. No manufacturer has shipped more than 10 million units.
