Recently, Siegfried Pritz, a cable expert from SES (German Retired Experts Group) in Germany, was invited to come to Pou Sheng to provide free diagnosis and guidance on the related technical issues of Pou Sheng.
Mr. Pritz has extensive experience in the research and development of cable and cable materials, production cost control, and product quality process improvement. He worked for 35 years at Siemens AG in Germany, and engaged in 400kV and below plastic-insulated power cables with a rated voltage of 45kV and below. Paper insulation, process design for oil-filled cables up to and including 500kV, and providing tour training and technical services for cable companies in more than 10 countries including Slovakia, Australia, and Romania.
During Pou Sheng, Mr. Pritz directed various issues such as resistance test of water-repellent cable conductors, and conducted extensive exchanges with Baosheng technicians. He proposed using statistical tools to analyze, control and reduce the cost of cable manufacturing. The method provides a useful reference for Baosheng's cost control work. Before leaving, Mr. Pritz expressed that he would contact him at any time if he encounters difficult problems in the future production and R&D process.
