1. During transportation, motors/packages should be handled carefully to avoid damages, in terms of shaft deformation, casing deformation, cracking magnet, motor malfunction, and etc.
2. Do not store motors under high temperature and high humidity. Keep away motors from environment with corrosive gas, as it may result in malfunctioning.
3. When soldering, be sure to finish as soon as possible to avoid plastic deformation around the motor terminals, and to avoid bending or deformation of terminals itself. Precautions such as covering up holes and apertures must be taken to prohibit solder debris and flux spatter into motors. Please note that any soldering agents can cause failure in electrical conduction.
4. When mounting the motor onto the product, the length of screw should not touch the winding.
5. Do not leave motor shaft locked while power is applied, as even a short-time lock-up may cause excess heat build up resulting in burning damage to the motor.
6. When fitting an eccentric wheel pulley, gear, and etc., onto shaft, always support the shaft at the other end and retain a vertical position of the shaft.
7. If eccentric wheel, fan ,gear, and etc. are needed to be installed onto shaft, please do a throughout assessment or contact us for clarifications.
8. Motor life and performance may be affected by heavy radial loading such as rotating eccentric cams, or by external vibration. Do check over such negative factors by testing the motors in the actual operating conditions with your application.
9. If the motor is required to meet certain drop test certificates, we need to be informed about these testing procedures in advance.
