TDK Group introduced the first aluminum electrolytic capacitor * with an anti-vibration performance of 60g (according to IEC60068-2-6 standard**). The new EPCOS capacitors are rugged and durable, with excellent vibration resistance and excellent electrical performance. They are available in three terminal configurations (axial leaded, welded star and double plate) and range in size from 16mm to 25mm. 18mmx39mm (diameter x length), capacitance values ​​between 270μF and 5800μF, voltage range from 25V to 100V. In addition, all models with a seismic resistance of 60g can operate up to 150 ° C and comply with the AEC-Q200 standard.

The TDK Group's axial design provides maximum vibration resistance. Axial capacitors have a decisive design advantage over common leaded designs: the flexible connection of the lead strips and aluminum foil prevents vibration from being transmitted directly to the terminals. In addition, the core is tightly held by the aluminum shell by axial and radial fixing forces. The core is fixed in the radial direction by a ring-shaped pressed corrugation in the middle of the aluminum casing.
