TI Designs Design Library will introduce a series of reference design selections, including industrial, medical, automotive electronics, factory automation and control, building automation, personal electronics and other applications, updated weekly, don't miss it! Now, Let's take a look at the good recommendations in the fifth issue of "Automotive Electronic Reference Design"!

Design overview

The PMP9351 is a compact power and serializer solution for automotive auxiliary camera modules using the OmniVision image sensor OV10635. This reference board has two LMR22007 ($1.0012) synchronous buck regulators that provide two 3.3V outputs and one 1.5V output to power the OV10635 evaluation board that bypasses the onboard LDO. This design occupies an effective PCB board area of 20x20mm. The system input voltage is 9V rated voltage from the ECU and its input range is 5.5V to 20V. This reference board includes the DS90UB913Q ($5.2200) serializer and supports a coaxial cable power configuration that allows input power and FPD-Link III signals to be transmitted over a single coaxial cable.
